Last week while i was struggling through another week of classes, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was being held in Sydney and so my method of procrasttination was sifting through street style looks and runway images from the shows, but specifically street style images. The streets saw some similar styles and colours being paraded. In terms of styles utilitarian style dresses or jackets were seen widely throughout the five days often paired with a belt to add more shape. In terms of the colour tone of the streets it was very neutral tones but some more vibrant colours defiantly made there impact; pink, green and lavender in a pastel wash were personal favourites. In terms of footwear, the dad sneaker is being fazed out and strappy kitten heels are coming back in; which personally isn't a style i find very wearable. Whether you try new things at fashion week or represent the truest version of you, the styles on the streets really prove the importance of fashion in self expression. Ho
